Dear parent/guardian,
Welcome to Primary 2, I hope you all enjoyed the first week. I am Mr Peacock and I am hoping to meet you soon.
There are a few things I would like you to know about the plan for each school week.
Each week will consist of:
- A session of numeracy and literacy every day.
- Homework will be handed out on a Wednesday and handed back the following Tuesday. Please see instructions in homework jotter.
- Physical Education will be on Thursdays. Please have your child dressed in suitable outdoor shoes and clothes in case we use the outside space for PE.
- Please make sure the children have a coat as we will be going out in most weathers.
- Reading books will be sent home starting next week and we will be reading in class every day.
- Mrs Wallace will be teaching on a Monday.

I also have some news on school lunches. Starting from Monday 17th of August there will be free school lunches for Primary 1 to 3. The choice will be from a selection of sandwiches, juice/water, fruit and yogurt.
