Red – Please READ, COVER, WRITE, CHECK all words twice. Complete sheet 3b and 3c. Choose 1 activity and complete in your jotter.

Please note that it has come to my attention that a number of pupils may have accessed and shared film trailers for films that are certified for an older age group via their mobile phones before school. To address this we have invited the Community Police Officer to speak to pupils about accessing the internet and the dangers of sharing via social media. Pupils who are reading Football Ghosts have reading for Tuesday 27/9/16.
Please ensure that pupils are keeping their personal reading record
up-to-date.

Reading
This term most reading activities will take place in school. Some reading will be set as homework. If your child does not have specific reading homework please encourage them to read for a minimum of 20 minutes each night and try to include a variety of different texts including newspapers and non-fiction. This can be done through traditional sources or digital media. Towards the end of this term pupils will be asked to select one of the books they have read and prepare a book report. They will also be asked to keep a log of the books they have read.

Also draw a still life object that you found at home using tone and line, bring the object in (could be flowers, vase, cup, fruit) for Thursday.
As most of you know tomorrow (Thursday 12th May) is P6’s class assembly. Parents are invited to come and watch it at 2:30pm.
